Graduate School of Educational Sciences (GSES), also known as Institute of Educational Sciences, was founded on 15 June 2011 in accordance with the decision of Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 2011/2018 . After the transfer of graduate students of Educational Sciences studying in the Institute of Social Sciences and the Institute of Science to our Institute, the Institute of Educational Sciences, the Graduate School of Educational Sciences has carried out graduate level programs in the field of education in our university according to “Cumhuriyet University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations.” The Institute operating within the provisions of the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of Graduate Schools has three organs which are the Graduate School Director, the Graduate School Board and the Graduate School Administrative Board. The Graduate School Board meets under the chairmanship of the Director and consists of the Assistant Directors and the heads of the departments of the graduate school. The Graduate School Administrative Board meets under the chairmanship of the Director and is composed of the Assistant Directors and three teaching staff members to be selected for a period of three years by the Graduate School Board from among six candidates nominated by the Director. Within the framework of the graduate school, the Graduate School Board and the Graduate School Administrative Board perform the duties assigned by law 2547 to the Faculty Board and the Faculty Administrative Board.
